If you haven’t noticed something has changed…

We have become more flexible in the way we work with clients.

You see when it was just me, we did not work with anyone under the traditional franchise broker, or franchise consultant model.

We had our Zero to Profitable Franchise Mastermind system, that has a cost to get into- and if someone didn’t want to join at the cost…we wouldn’t work with them.

Over the last 3-6 months, I’ve started to shift the business model.

Why?

Well, I realized that we could help a lot more people in being flexible in our services. That’s the quick and easy answer.

Our ZTPF mastermind did a great job of filtering out folks who were NOT serious about making a change in their life.

What I’ve come to realize is sometimes people need to identify the opportunities, or see what’s out there first.

But the future is exciting for how our team at Franchise Empire can help you achieve your goals of owning a money making franchise.

So although, we’ve opened up the floodgates for our traditional Franchise brokerage/ consulting side of the business…

We are limiting and putting a cap on how many new clients we’ll accept into our Zero to Profitable Franchise Mastermind every month.

It’ll protect the group, keep it intimate, and make sure we are bringing in committed folks who add value to the overall group..because we’re like a family.

So, if you want to learn more about our Zero to Profitable Franchise Mastermind, click here and you can have a quick chat with either me or Dan on our team.

FEATURED RESALE

Franchise resales possess many benefits for aspiring business owners – established cash flow, experienced employees, systems in place, and brand awareness to name a few.

This week, our featured resale comes from Signworld Business Partners, a network of 350 independently-owned businesses that provide commercial signage and graphics services. Signworld is NOT a franchise model. Rather, they have an affiliate network model where owners still get exclusive territories and access to training and support, but do not pay ongoing royalties.

Teaneck, NJ

  • Asking price of ~$375,000

  • 2023 Revenue of just over $1 million

  • Owner is active in the business and is retiring; new owner would most likely need to jump in full-time

  • Sign manufacturing equipment and retail lease included in sale

  • 3 employees

  • Opportunity to increase marketing and obtain more customers

Franchise Empire’s Take:

  • Signworld rarely has resale opportunities. The network has a high retention rate amongst owners, and it can be a scalable business with the right owner in place. Ideally, someone that can network in the community with business owners and do B2B sales.

  • Typically, a core of 30 customers will generate approximately 80% of your revenue. A lot of your business will be from repeat customers who continue to need graphics and signage work completed.

Curious to learn more about this particular franchise resale, or other resales available in your area?

CLIENT CASE STUDY

Krista had tried to start some businesses before, but just never really followed through or gained much traction.

She got the most value from the weekly group calls that we do with all of our clients. It’s one of the key differences between working with us in our Zero to Profitable Franchise Mastermind.

Check out her story of what jolted her to make a change in her life.

  • No Show Room –  Most franchisees operate from their home, working typical 8-5 Monday through Friday hours. You may want to have an office or showroom in the future, but it’s not a requirement keeping the total investment fairly low.

  • No Construction Experience Necessary – Archadeck is looking for operators who are strong at sales and marketing and have great communication skills. You will rely on corporate to help with 3D renderings and design of the projects.
